Ihor Kukurudza Trio at O'Douls

posted May 15, 2011, 11:30 PM by bernie arai
I know O'Douls sounds like an Irish pub, but it's actually a classy space to check out live jazz.  This week I'm playing there with Ihor Kukurudza, who, besides being a fine guitarist, is also one of the anchor educators of the Jazz Studies program at Capilano University.  Thoughtfully arranged standards and tricky obscure tunes for your listening pleasure.

Ihor Kukurudza - electric guitar
Adam Thomas - acoustic bass
me on drums

May 19-21 (Thursday to Saturday)
O'Douls Restaurant and Bar
1300 Robson Street (at Jervis)
No cover! Sit at the bar and nurse a beer if you like.
