the big much & new diversions this week

for the third installment of my residency at el barrio, i get to play with my trio the big much, which has been together for i think almost five years now? we'll be doing a bunch of my and chad's tunes, and some other stuff too. it's pretty fun and interesting to work within this unique instrumentation, gives us a lot of possible directions to take.

also this friday another long(er) standing trio, new diversions, plays 1067east. we just did last wednesday at el barrio which was a real blast, and looking forrward to building on that momentum musically speaking. ranging from ambient soundscapes to noise drones to IDM beats to jazz vamps, we all get to take advantage of different timbres and instruments.
